AUO Corporation Reports July 2013 Consolidated Revenue

AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its preliminary consolidated July 2013 revenue of NT$33,029 million, down by 10.8% month-over-month, and increased by 4.1% year-over-year.

For July 2013, large-sized panel^(a) shipments, with applications on desktop monitor, notebook PC, LCD TV and other applications, decreased by 16.4% month-over-month to around 8.81 million units. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments were over 13.42 million units, an increase of 5.5% from the previous month.

(a) Large size refers to panels that are 10 inches and above in diagonal measurement while small and medium size refers to those below 10 inches.
